PETG is a glycol-modified polyethylene terephthalate, PETG is a copolyester that is an amorphous thermoplastic. PETG is similar to polycarbonate in that they both offer excellent impact resistance. PETG however; is much less expensive, forms much better and is more lightweight than polycarbonate.
