Fred Silver and Company, Inc. was founded in 1937 in Newark, New Jersey by Fred Silver.  It supplied convex safety and security mirrors to his community.

 

Fred Silver, a highly respected visionary and creative giant, invented several types of security and safety products. For 52 years, he marketed these products commercially.  Fred Silver guided his company's growth, stability, and competitiveness. 

Today, Fred Silver and Company, Inc. is run by his daughter, Andrea Schlossberg, and her two daughters. It continues to produce a wide array of security and safety mirrors for International clients as far away as Chile and Italy, and as large and prestigious as Disney, Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson.

 

Fred Silver was a practicing attorney and a loyal member of the business community, maintaining his business through war, riots, and vast social changes. The success of this family company is an inspiring legacy of hard work, perseverance, sound management, creativity and achievement.
